Great looking magazine – and I’m an iPhone user. What are the hair-shirted Android mob going to make of it all I wonder. “OOh, I don’t like that anti aliasing and polished visual design…. Where’s Google Arial when you need it…?”
@Mat Toor , yeah, I’m sure they are so annoyed they don’t have to plug their phones in to update it, use proprietary chargers, iTunes to add content , convert media to play on device , not have Flash support , not be able to replace the battery , not be able to swap out storage , not be able to sideload apps , etc etc.
@Mat Toor – and I wonder what the polo-necked iPhone users will make of the new iPhone 5? Woefully under-specced and with only some the features us hair-shirted lot have been enjoying for over a year maybe?
So this magazine will be sol only in B&N UK??? i live is USA and went to B&N but they didnt have it
Be gone Mac Fan boy,
@Android_jr You’ll have to wait a few weeks to get it in the UK I’m afraid. But it will be in B&N when it gets there. We’ll give you a shout here and on twitter/facebook when it lands…
Great magazine, very informative for both experts and beginers!
Can’t find it on Zinio!
Can’t wait till it hits the US bookstores.
Some of us iPhone owners have invested too high in the last few years in apps to just let them sit in the shelf… However nothing wrong with Android either, so will the mag be coming out for the iPad (reader)
Cannot find it anywhere!!
Tried Birmingham Asda/Tesco/Spar to no avail!!
Will someone please help??
Wish there’s a digital version of the magazines!
Mazli – fully agree. If this magazine is shouting out about Android – why not launch an Android app version to demonstrate just how good the platform is?!
Hi
We currently looking into the best option for a digital version. Watch this space…
Best bet for finding the mag in UK is WHSmiths but if you’re still stuck try http://www.imagineshop.co.uk
Enjoying hearing the feedback so far! Thanks for the comments…
Great magazine and good introduction to Android though… What is the frequency of the magazine? Is it monthly or every two months?
Oops it’s monthly as now seen it in the magazine.
Love the mag.
I’m a Android Tablet man my self.
Hi
I have bought the first two editions of the magazine. Very good. I do want a digital edition. I live in Canada and we are almost a full month behind.
Thank you
John
You should make it available in digital format (of course in a reduced price) since I’m not living in Europe or America and it seems hard to find you here. That’s why I prefer digital subscription.
Just discovered this mag from issue 4, as I am a new owner of an htc desire s recently. Great mag, has just what a begginner needs, looking forward to issue 5 tomorrow.
Is it possible to get a copy of Issue No.1 of the Android Magazine from anywhere? It would be nice if I could complete my collection. Any replies would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
@Peter Hughes. Found my copy of Issue #1 attached to Issue #3 when I first stumbled across this great mag. a few weeks ago here in Oz. Keep up the good work, guys.
Hi
I subscribed through Zinio. Love it.
Thank you,
John
Just bought issue 9, and decided to subscribe. A great mag and I am looking forward to next issue. I have few comments: could you state if the app you are reviewing is tab compatible, I tried to download a few apps and it would tell me my zoom is not compatible. And could you add more content on tablets, as there appears to be a lot on smart phones in comparison. Thanks.
