Google is celebrating the ten billionth download from the Android Market with a fantastic offer – premium apps for just 10p!The Android Market has racked up its ten billionth download, and to celebrate Google has launched a ten day offer, with select premium apps available for just 10p (or 10c in the US).
New apps will be added on a daily basis, with the first batch including the excellent SwiftKey X keyboard, the retro camera app Paper Camera, and the impressive 3D racing game Asphalt 6.
It’s an offer that can’t be beat, so be sure to check the Market daily to see which other bargains are up for grabs.

The new Route 66 Maps + Navigation app, available now in the Android Market, includes the unique Follow Me feature with augmented reality navigation. It displays a live view of the road ahead – taken from your phone or tablet’s camera – and overlays it with a line showing your plotted route and an image of a car that you can simply follow.
Whether it proves to be a valuable driving aid or a distraction we’ll find out soon when we give the app a full review.
